A 2.5-hour spy mission in Mexico City. No guide, no download, no experience required. Solo players welcome.
Nobody in Mexico City suspects the tourists taking selfies. That is exactly what HQ is counting on. In plain terms: a 2.5-hour team spy game on foot, played on your phones.
You will see Mexico City. You will also see a side of your teammates that no dinner party ever revealed.
You do not need to be good at puzzles; you need people willing to have opinions, loudly, on a street corner. There may be a double agent on your team. There may not.
About 2.5 hours and 4 stops over roughly 2.6 km. Your phone is your handler and your only witness, and there is nothing to download.
Somewhere, HQ is filing your mission report under 'surprisingly competent'. You take home the photos to prove it.
Who it's for:
- Friends, couples and families with teens: finally, a day out with more to talk about than where to eat.
- Solo travelers and anyone new in town: join an open session and team up with other players. You arrive alone and leave with a team, which is more than most networking events manage.
- Private groups: bachelor and bachelorette parties, girls' weekends, boys' trips, wedding parties, work teams and active over-55s. Pick the day; we will handle the intrigue.
Book a private game for 1 to 8 players on a date you choose; a team of one works too. Prefer company? Join the open session every Sunday at 3pm to team up with other players. If nobody else books it, we let you know in advance so you can play solo or move to another date. Bigger groups play as several private teams.
What to expect
Turn up at José Luis Cuevas Museum by your departure time. Meet at the large inscribed Museo José Luis Cuevas wall at the Academia Street entrance. Your mission starts on your phones there and leads your team to 4 stops over about 2.6 km on foot, finishing at the last stop about 2.5 hours later. Only the meeting point is shared in advance; the rest is revealed as you play.
- Bring a charged phone for each player, with mobile data; a power bank helps
- About 2.6 km of walking; wear comfortable shoes
- Outdoors in typical weather; if conditions turn unsafe, we reschedule you or refund you
- The challenges suit teens and adults; younger players are welcome with grown-ups on the team
- The walk between stops follows step-free mapped paths, and no stop is marked as inaccessible. Kerbs and paving are not checked on the ground, so contact us if you need full step-free access.
