The Erie you thought you knew, with a story running underneath it. Three Hours in Erie With People You Have Not Met Yet
There is another version of Erie hiding in plain sight.
Meet your team, follow the trail, and spend a few hours finding it together.
Most people see the surface of Erie. Your team gets sent after what is underneath it.
You meet, you are handed a story, and you go looking. The route is concealed, the ending is not announced, and the only way forward is to work it out between you.
Each stage peels back another layer. Sometimes it is a detail everyone walked past. Sometimes it is a decision the team has to agree on. Sometimes it is just committing to something faintly absurd in a public place.
Nobody has all the answers, which is why it works as a group. You end up listening to each other properly, because you need to.
For all the secrecy, this is a warm and easy afternoon. No specialist knowledge, no gaming experience, nothing to prepare.
It is less a route through Erie than an afternoon in it, with people who by the end you know a great deal better than the city.
Know before you go
• It is outdoors and takes about three hours of walking at an easy pace.
• The route and where you end up stay secret. That is most of the fun.
• Keep an eye on traffic, weather, opening hours and what is around you.
• Open matchmaking departures run Sundays at 3:00 PM in the destination’s local time, so everyone who wants a team is pooled onto the same departure. Booking privately? Start at any time you like, on any day.
• Plans change: cancel any time up to 45 minutes after your departure and choose a credit for the full amount you paid (valid 12 months on any quest), a free reschedule, or a refund of your full payment minus the non-refundable payment processing fee.
• After the quest has loaded, temporary connection loss is supported and queued activity can synchronize when connectivity returns.
• No paid attraction admission is required to complete the standard quest.
• Still the only player one hour before an open departure? We email you how many players have signed up, and you choose: play the quest solo, reschedule for free, take a credit for the full amount, or get a refund minus the non-refundable payment processing fee.
